Windows 7/Windows XP Mode: Don’t forget your XPMUser password

If you setup the Windows XP Mode but you didn’t wrote down the password for the account XPMUser (whoops – how could that happen!?!?), you can get into trouble when there will be an demand for that password somehow. Before setting up Windows XP Mode from scratch again or do other tricks/steps, look into this Forum entry:

Prompt for XPMUser password

This ‘solution’ worked for me:
– closed the VM
– launched an application below ‘Windows XP Mode Applications’
– closed the application
– launched Windows XP Mode and than now there is no more password request anymore

REM: This only works when the Logon Credentials were SAVED previously.
